The Classics

The challenge was to re-create 3 classic stories which are typically designed for children, now reimagining them for an older audience, yet with a twist.

Therefor, my approach was to focus on the 'evil' character of every story, as opposed to the regular designs focusing on the protagonist which overcomes a challenge and becomes the hero in the story.

‍

For every story I focused on the antagonist for the front cover, illustrating them in a more abstract manner, and for the back their most famous quote from the story, keeping it simple to contrast with the front.
